Workout 3 - HIIT Squad
Today's workout includes High Intensity Interval Training
This session is best conducted at a local oval, park, or open spaced lawn area. Take the kids and let them play in the grass (or you might need to strap them into the pram with some fruit snacks.
Roughly measure out a distance of 30 metres. I judge this by taking long strides and putting my water bottle at one end and the pram at the other end.
The session will start with 10 repetitions of a bodyweight exercise performed as quickly as possible, followed by an high intensity 30 metre run.
10 x Burpees, then complete 30 metre run - Repeat 3 x times
10 x Jumping Squats, then complete 30 metre run - Repeat 3 x times
(If you can’t do a Jumping Squat - opt for a standard squat)
10 x push ups, then complete 30 metre run - Repeat 3 x times
